I’m Valerie
I believe that music has the power to enrich our lives in countless ways, and that everyone should have the opportunity to experience its transformative effects. As a music educator, it is my mission to inspire a love of music in students of all ages, and to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to express themselves through this universal language.

Bio
Born in Turin, Italy in 1991, Valerie Mbigna Mbakop started playing the violin at the age of 4 years old at the Suzuki School with Lee Robert and Antonio Mosca.
She graduated from the Conservatorio "G. Verdi" of Turin under the guidance of Silvio Bresso.
In 2012 she moved to Zurich to study at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, where she graduated with a Master in Music Performance under the guidance of Marianne Häberli and a Master in Music Pedagogy under the guidance of Ulrich Gröner.
In 2016 she was became a Suzuki Certified Teacher.
She has been a violin and music teacher as well as a String Ensemble conductor, teaching babies, children and teenagers both in induvidual and group settings.
